Program Manager, Operations for AIDE in Austin

How would you like to plan and develop new and existing experiential learning programs abroad? AIDE is a not-for-profit organization that offers international intern, teach, work, and volunteer placements. AIDE has programs in Argentina, Australia, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, England, Guatemala, India, Ireland, Peru, South Africa, and Spain.
The Program Manager works with the AIDE Team, and is responsible for assisting with the department’s operations to ensure that placements, orientations, participant relations, contracts, and materials are handled within required time frames. The Program Manager is responsible for making complex travel arrangements and working with related departments to ensure participant satisfaction and resolve issues as they arise. The role also involves frequent contact with the finance department to generate and review invoices and activate participant insurance. The Program Manager supports the planning and development of new and existing programs, and develops associated online and print materials. The Program Manager maintains internal and external communications as necessary, and develops marketing strategies to support increased program participation.


– Experience with international operations and marketing is a plus.
– Must be passionate about cultural exchange and international travel.
– Must speak intermediate Spanish (experience traveling and/or living in Latin America is a plus).
– Skilled knowledge of Excel and Word are required.
– Must possess operating knowledge of commonly used internal databases, or be capable of learning them quickly.
– Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Business, Marketing, or other relevant field.
– Must possess a calm demeanor and function effectively under pressure, as well as a strong ability to create reports, meet deadlines, set goals, multi-task, and prioritize.
– Minimum one year experience in customer service and operations required. International experience preferred.
