Volunteer Opportunities: RISE Conference March 26-30, 2012

RISE (www.riseglobal.org)is a local non-profit that hosts an annual week long “un-conference” from March 26-30th that includes over 200 sessions on everything and anything that has to do with entrepreneurship. We also have evening events, like our opening kick-off with keynote speaker Robert Rodriguez, fast pitch competitions, receptions with awesome keynote speakers, plus more. These evening events need volunteers and UT students would really benefit from this opportunity. Not only would they be giving back to the Austin entrepreneurship community, but it’s a great opportunity to network and meet/talk with some amazing local entrepreneurs. Volunteers also get a free shirt and a wristband to attend our Awards Bash on Friday where local Austin/San Marcos band Groupo Fantasma will be performing.
Volunteer time slots are mostly in the evenings from around 4:30 – 9 and volunteers can sign up for different shifts within that time gap. We also have a couple of openings for volunteers during the day on Thursday.
