Posted on: 20/02/2009 Internet, Multimedia, Networking Region: Latin America
A social network of Spanish-speaking multimedia journalists was recently launched with the goal of providing a space for reflection and interaction.
The network, Red de Periodistas Multimedia (RPM), is also a forum for debate on topics such as: Web writing; participatory journalism or 3.0; multimedia narrative; social Web or 2.0; newsroom convergence; and entrepreneurial journalism.
Journalists who are interested in joining the network must register and create a profile.
The network’s organizers were participants in the Scripps Howard Media Ethics program, organized annually by the International Center for Journalists and the Digital Journalism Center in Guadalajara.
