Austin’s Edioma makes bilingual pitch to AT&T

Compared with a whale-size company like AT&T Inc., Larry Upton’s Austin startup is about the size of a gnat.
Year-and-a-half-old Edioma Inc. has a dozen workers, and it is just starting to bring in sales revenue, but the Austin company might have something that AT&T wants: new cell phone data content and services for Spanish-speaking customers. Upton will join dozens of small software companies that will pitch their offerings to a group of AT&T cellular executives gathered today through Thursday at a wireless industry trade show in Las Vegas.
