UT will offer a faculty led summer program during the first summer session of 2008. Study Portuguese and Brazilian Literature in one of Brazil’s most
beautiful cities, Salvador da Bahia, with UT professor Sonia Roncador. Salvador is a 500-year-old cultural, historic and architectural jewel. Its unique legacy has earned the city a United Nations World Heritage Site. Students register for one or two courses with Dr. Roncador, Spanish and Portuguese, for a maximum of six credits. Scholarships available, and financial aid applies. UT also offers semester exchanges at the Universidade Fedaral de Minas Gerais (Belo Horizonte, MG), Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Campinas, SP), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre, RS), and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro, RJ).
