SíTV is currently looking for a Managing Editor to join our winning Digital Media team.
The Managing Editor will direct, manage and oversee online editorial programming, execution and workflow across our network of sites. The Managing Editor will also supervise staff, oversee daily editorial operations and be an enthusiastic motivator with a passion for, and a working knowledge of Latino culture. This editor must be committed to driving page views by creating and delivering an engaging, interactive experience to our audience. This leader is also committed to maintaining editorial quality in a fast-paced environment. The preferred candidate will oversee the editorial/events calendar and ensure planning and integration between the edit staff while working closely with the larger production, design and video teams.
· Oversee editorial programming of websites and new sections, formats and features
· Ensure that editorial quality standards are maintained throughout sites
· Review and execute strategy in concert with GM and Product Development Lead
· Maintain positive working relationships with Product Development Lead, business staff and sales team
· Ensure development and maintenance of content related to partner/client deals
· Staff development, performance assessment, evaluation schedules, etc
· Regular website reporting to staff, to GM and to business side
· Ensure page-view generation throughout products
· 8 plus years online editorial experience
· Strong programming and management experience
· Specific experience in the Latino content space.
· Must be well aware of and engaged in blogs.
