Generation Change Internship Program

The Generation Change internship program will provide an introduction to the field of community organizing for exceptional young leaders. This 10 week, paid summer internship program kicks off with an innovative “Introduction to Organizing and Nonprofit Leadership” training session from June 3rd to 6th in Nashville, TN.
Interns will be placed in some of the nation’s top grassroots community based organizations to conduct substantive work and receive intensive training. Although each placement will be unique, all interns will gain invaluable organizing skills, develop materials and support local and national campaign activities. Placements will be in organizations working to achieve positive change in low income communities, particularly in communities of color.
