How can you prepare? – Develop a log line and a ½ page premise for an original and unique show idea that you think would be a perfect fit as Nickelodeon programming (live action or animation). To get a more complete idea of our current programming, be sure that you have done your research and are familiar with some of Nickelodeon’s most popular shows. You can also visit http://www.nick.com for more show info.
What makes a good Nick show? – Our target audience ranges from 6 – 14 years old. The stories are based on original concepts and characters that bring fresh ideas back to storytelling. The show creator should have a strong vision for his/her idea. The characters should drive the stories, not merely exist in them – have strong personalities, are funny, distinctive and memorable.
What do you need to do? Fax in the following information, by 5:00pm (PST) on Friday, March 2nd, to 818-736-3840:
– 1/2 page premise for your original and unique show idea

– Signed copy of the SUBMISSION RELEASE FORM available for download here: http://www.nalip.org/LITI/nickrelease.pdf
