Educational Programs Manager w/Latino Student Fund

The Educational Programs Manager will manage and coordinate the Scholars Program, Tutoring Program, and other educational activities of the Latino Student Fund (LSF). The position duties include but are not limited to developing and implementing all program-specific curriculum materials and activities of the LSF, acting as the Latino Student Fund’s liaison to each participating student’s school, collecting assessment and program reports from such schools, and recruiting potential volunteers.
Under the guidance of the Executive Director, the Educational Programs Manager will spearhead a number of events and important programmatic processes. These include networking events for LSF families, College workshops, and the Scholars Program admissions process.
The Educational Programs Manager is a prominent member in both the LSF community and the greater DDC metropolitan community. The position includes interfacing both with LSF families and potential partners in Spanish.
Qualifications: Qualified applicants will demonstrate the majority of the following characteristics:
Strong and written and verbal communication skills (includes public speaking.)
Proficient in Spanish
Ability to manage multiple projects
Strong interpersonal skills
Desired Experience:
B.A. in related field
Experience in Education, NonProfit Industry, Fundraising, Event Planning
*Salary is commensurate with experience
