Internship with ESPN International Communications team
Research and write press releases, biographies and other press materials; research projects; answer viewer e-mail and phone calls; assist in placement of ESPN newspaper listings; review audio and video tapes for comments; scan U.S. Hispanic and Latin American publications/newspaper websites; arrange interviews with ESPN Deportes executives and talent; and other public relations functions for ESPN 2, ESPN+, ESPN in Latin America, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio and ESPN La Revista.
Fully bi-lingual reading, writing and speaking both Spanish and English. Candidates must possess excellent writing (press releases, bios and other basic press materials) skills. Good sports knowledge and strong interpersonal communications skills requested. Students should be able to juggle multiple priorities. Experience in a Sports Information, newspaper, and/or team media relations office preferred.
Journalism or Communications.
