June 9: Girl Empowerment Festival/Festival para chicas líderes

A Free & Bilingual Event!

This June, the Austin community will host the first
Girl Empowerment Festival, a gathering for girls and
young women ages 14-22, and their sisters, moms, aunts
and cousins. The festival will address issues such as
dating violence, sexual assault, body image, teen
pregnancy, rape culture, celebrating cultural
differences, cultural identity, and media literacy
through workshops, art, poetry, and song.
